My primary interests are in the earlier and smaller manufacturers/assemblers of high quality pens. These include (though not limited to): Century (until the early to mid 1920s, after which their pens declined in quality), the pens of William A Houston (Houston, Jiffy, Snapfil, Kaligraf pencils), Betzler & Wilson, Crocker, Dunn, Mooney, Grieshaber, etc. I also have more than a passing interest in early Moore's Non-Leakable safety pens (though I only have about a half dozen of these pens). Of late, I have also developed quite an interest in fountain pens and other writing implements from the nineteenth century.
